The Nehru planetarium  New Delhi is situated in the green surroundings of the Teen Murti House,  previously the official residence of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and now a museum in his memory. For the understanding of crucial facts, Presidium Vivek Vihar organized a visit to the Planetarium for students of Grade 3. To begin with, the students took a walk through the museum where they gathered information about Pt.Nehru's phases of life. The students were spellbound by the number of old photographs covering the walls of the museum. They watched in the sky dome theatre situated in the planetarium. The also watched a show titled Vichitra Brahmaand. It featured information about planets, constellations etc. It was a fruitful and enlightening trip that set many Young Minds aspiring to take up astronomy as a subject.
