Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honor of Lord Shiva. It is a significant and solemn festival in Hinduism that marks a remembrance of "overcoming darkness and ignorance" in life and the world. It is observed by remembering Shiva and chanting prayers, fasting, and meditating on ethics and virtues such as self-restraint, honesty, non-injury to others, forgiveness, and the discovery of Shiva. The sacred chant "Om Namaha Shivaya" is chanted throughout the day. On this auspicious occasion, the students of Presidium put forth a colorful presentation. The Program commenced with 'Shiv Vandana, ' followed by a spectacular theater act that was both value-based and informative. The students dressed up in beautiful attires and danced to the tune of Shiv Bhakti.
