Buddha Purnima is one of the main festivals observed during the vaishak month, which marks the birth anniversary of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became Gautama Buddha. It is believed that Buddha attained enlightenment and Nirvana on the same day. This pious day was celebrated by Presidians with great reverence during a special assembly. Our young learners shared insightful quotes and made beautiful drawings inspired by the life of Lord Buddha. Some students even spoke about Gautama Buddha's teachings and encouraged their friends to live a happy and peaceful life.
