"Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding." – William Paul Thurston
Multiplication activities are a great way to incorporate learning skills effectively, helping students understand their timetable and multiplication lessons. Maths activities are a compelling supplement to regular lessons. Combining different teaching techniques, including activities, can boost proficiency in multiplication. Keeping this in mind students of Grade 3 Presidium actively participated in Maths activity wherein they learned the construction of times tables and built their understanding of the topic. Students used concrete materials like paper strips and bindi to construct the timetable. The young minds benefited from learning by doing, it motivated them and kept them engaged effectively. This activity helped them in achieving the objective of learning the concept.
