To explore and celebrate the power of renewable sources of energy, Akshay Urja Diwas was organized in Presidium. Akshay Urja Diwas is an awareness campaign about the development of renewable energy in India, celebrated on 20th August, every year since 2004. On this day, a special assembly was organized. Students of grades 4 & 5 participated with great enthusiasm in poster making, sharing slogans, significance, and thoughts. A small video was shown for better understanding. This day gave our young learners a different approach towards the benefits of renewable sources of energy, their concept, and their applications. It also helped to understand the importance of Akshay Urja for the future development of our country.
