National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated every year on October 31 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. He was a freedom fighter and later a politician who played a major role in the integration of India. He was the one who really unified the country. He was proudly known as the Iron man of India.
