National pollution control day is observed in India every year on 2nd December to raise awareness about the problems of increasing pollution and to commemorate the thousands of people who lost their lives in the Bhopal Gas tragedy in 1984. The national pollution control day was celebrated on December 2nd in Presidium. A Special assembly was conducted by the students of nursery to 5th grade. Students shared the significance of the national pollution control day. They described an alarming situation of the environment and how they can contribute to controlling the increasing pollution. They shared their views through the beautiful poem and the posters. In the end, they took a pledge to control pollution and to conserve their environment for the future generation.
