National Youth day also known as Vivekanand Jayanti, is celebrated on 12 January being the birthday of Swami Vivekanand. In 1984 Government of India declared this day as National Youth day and since 1985 the event is celebrated every year in India. Youth day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Presidium. The celebration started with an activity of poster making & slogan writing in which students expressed their feelings and shared their thoughts. The students learned and were motivated to maintain the youthful spirit always. In the end, students were given the message that - "Life starts when you start believing in yourself... so before anything else start believing in yourself, and the world will believe you."
