Simple machines are devices with few or no moving parts that make our work easier. Students were introduced to the six types of simple machines - wheel & axle, inclined plane, pulley, wedge, screw, and lever. In the context of the construction of a pyramid getting high-level insight into tools that have been used since ancient times and are still in use today. Simple machines are the most basic machines which are used in our daily routines such as to clean, move, create, repair, etc. A simple machine makes our work easier implies that we need less force to do the same amount of work. To understand the concept more deeply students of grade 5 made the simple machine with the help of their toys and material available near them. Activity encourages the students to bring the best out of them as learning by doing is the best way of learning.
