"Bhangra Paao, Gidhe Paao Aao sare milke Baisakhi da tyohar manaao Tuhanu Sareyan nu Baisakhi de tyohar de lakh lakh vadhai Hove ji"
Baisakhi is a spring festival for Sikhs and Hindus. It marks the Sikh new year and commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth of warriors. Baisakhi is also an ancient festival of Hindus, marking the Solar New Year and also celebrating the spring harvest. Students were dressed up in ethnic attire to celebrate this auspicious festival with their teachers and friends. They enjoyed dancing to Bhangra beats. The motive behind the celebration was to apprise children of our rich culture and heritage. These engaging and fun-filled activities were planned in such a manner that they enjoyed themselves a lot.
