Presidium School celebrated 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' to remember India's war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country. Students sang patriotic songs and filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism. Teachers explained the importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas to the students. After that, the entire staff along with the students paid homage to the soldiers of Kargil by lighting the candles and 2 minutes of silence was observed. The lighted candles illuminated the screens. The PowerPoint presentation by the teachers made the event informative and enlightening. It explained to the students the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the sacrifices of Kargil heroes, which was also followed by inspirational and emotional videos of the war.

Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of July of the Hindu calendar to pay our homage to the lineage of spiritual masters. It coincides with the holy birthday of Shri Veda Vyasa, the compiler of the four Vedas and eighteen Puranas. The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated in our school through a virtual assembly dedicated to the teachers and the gurus. To mark the event students gave a token of love to the teachers in the form of speeches and prayer. Guru Purnima commemorates the goodness of spiritual gurus and teachers as thousands of devotees worship and thank their gurus for enlightenment. The young Presidians were shown a short video on Guru Purnima. The students chanted and wrote the beautiful shloka "Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwara Guru Saakshaat Parabrahma Tasmai Shri Gurave Namah.”

Eid Al- Adha, also known as the festival of sacrifice or Eid Qurban, is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhual Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. Students of Presidium celebrated the auspicious festival of Eid with great enthusiasm and excitement during the online classes. The celebration began with a prayer, followed by beautiful quotes, videos, and teachings of Allah. Students also showcased their Eid special craft samples. The teachers explained the meaning, purpose, and importance of sacrifice & the subsequent celebration of it to the students.

Skill development is the primary means of enabling young people to make a smooth transition to work. The goal is to achieve better social-economic conditions for today's youth addressing the challenges of society. Youth skill day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Presidium. The celebration started with an activity of poster making & slogan writing in which students expressed their feelings and shared their thoughts. The Students learned and were motivated to maintain the youthful spirit always. In the end, students were given the message that - "Life starts when you start believing in yourself. So before anything else, start believing in yourself, and the world will believe you."

Drawing and coloring is visual art that allows students to uncover their natural talent in sketching and illustrations. Keeping this in mind and exploring the creative potential in the young minds of children, Presidium who always encourages students' participation in competitions for holistic development of students, organized a virtual Drawing and Colouring Competition for the students of grades 1,2 and 3. The competition was based on different themes like Magical scenes underwater, My dreamland, etc. The students showcased their talent and artistic skills while drawing the pictures, and the result was amazing artwork. This fun-filled activity witnessed enthusiastic participation by all students.

बचपन उस कच्ची मिट्टी के समान होता है जिसे उचित मार्गदर्शन से आकार प्रदान कर हम न केवल युवा पीढ़ी बल्कि एक उत्कृष्ट समाज का भी निर्माण कर सकते हैं। हमारे देश में कई ऐसे महान व्यक्ति हुए हैं जिनका जीवन हमारे लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत है।जो हमारी जिंदगी बदल सकते हैं। प्रेरक प्रसंग हमें प्रोत्साहित करते हैं, जीने की कला सिखाते हैं तथा अच्छे संस्कारों का निर्माण करते हैं। इसी उद्देश्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए कक्षा 5 के विद्यार्थियों ने हिंदी की गतिविधि प्रेरक प्रसंग आयोजित की। जिसमें सभी विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साह पूर्वक बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया । उन्होंने अनेक महापुरुषों जैसे स्वामी विवेकानंद जी, महात्मा गांधी, अब्दुल कलाम आदि के जीवन से जुड़े हुए प्रसंग व रामायण, महाभारत और गीता जैसे महान ग्रंथ से भी प्रसंग प्रस्तुत किए। इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से बच्चों में नई उमंग व चेतना का संचार हुआ व उन्होंने प्रभाव पूर्ण जीवन जीने का निश्चय किया।
