Photography Day is a day whereby we pay tribute to the incredible form of art that is photography. There are many personal photos that we all love and cherish, but there are also photos that tell a story that reminds us of a well-known saying, "A picture is worth one thousand words.” On this special occasion this year, an event was organized in Presidium by the team of " The Art Of Photography (Regd.) Trust. They organized an online photography exhibition of photographs. Students of Grade 3, 4, and 5 clicked and captured various moments which showcased their creativity and innovative ideas. The simple pleasure of snapping photos and watching them on the screen was fun for the young Presidians and they enjoyed the integrity of their photos which they clicked themselves. Students also got to know about the history, art, and various types of cameras used for photography.

Multiplication activities are a great way to incorporate learning skills effectively, helping students understand their timetable and multiplication lessons. Maths activities are a compelling supplement to regular lessons. Combining different teaching techniques, including activities, can boost proficiency in multiplication. Keeping this in mind students of Grade 3 Presidium actively participated in Maths activity wherein they learned the construction of times tables and built their understanding of the topic. Students used concrete materials like paper strips and bindi to construct the timetable. The young minds benefited from learning by doing, it motivated them and kept them engaged effectively. This activity helped them in achieving the objective of learning the concept.

PRESIDIANS PASSIONATELY CELEBRATE THE 75TH INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Delicate dreams of the future, passionate memories of the glorious past, and resilient hopes for a new India marked the spirit of the 75th Independence Day Celebration in Presidium. The esteemed members of the Management graced the occasion. The flag hoisting and beautiful rendition of the National Anthem were followed by a cultural fiesta. In his address, the revered esteemed guests of the school boosted the morale of the students and urged them to grow up into dutiful citizens. A Sanskrit patriotic song 'Vande Matram,' a semi-classical Indian dance and a dance showcasing Indo-western fusion enkindled the spirit of nationality among the audience. A Mime act reflected the true spirit and meaning of patriotism. The address by the school Head once again inspired everyone to stand united to fight against all odds.

Skill development is the primary means of enabling young people to make a smooth transition to work. The goal is to achieve better social-economic conditions for today's youth addressing the challenges of society. International youth day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Presidium. The celebration started with an activity of poster making & slogan writing in which students expressed their feelings and shared their thoughts. The Students learned and were motivated to maintain the youthful spirit always. In the end, students were given the message that - "Life starts when you start believing in yourself... so before anything else start to believe in yourself and the world will believe you."

STUDENTS LEARN ADDITION IN A FUN MANNER!

Keeping this in mind, Presidium organized a virtual Dice Addition Activity for Grade 1. It is a fun and challenging game for students. In this activity, the teacher rolled the dice twice and students identified the correct number of dots on the dice and wrote it in the given worksheet and added those numbers, and found out the total. The aim of this game is for students to learn addition in a fun manner. It helps them sharpen their number & addition skills with the fun and effective method. Additionally, this activity builds identification, calculation, and focus in students.

भाषा अभिव्यक्ति का महत्वपूर्ण साधन है । वाचन कौशल, रचनात्मक व क्रियात्मक सोचने की क्षमता को बढ़ाने हेतु व मातृभाषा हिंदी का महत्व समझाने के लिए आज कक्षा चार में वाद विवाद गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया। इस गतिविधि में सभी बच्चों ने उत्साह पूर्वक बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया । उन्होंने अनेक विषयों जैसे खान- पान से लेकर दूरभाष यंत्र के महत्व के पक्ष व विपक्ष में अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए । विचारों को व्यक्त करते समय उन्होंने न केवल आत्मविश्वास का अपितु हिंदी भाषा के प्रति असीम प्रेम का भी परिचय दिया।

Here, kids were involved in non-fire cooking with a blend of words. They prepared their favorite snacks and explained their steps in the videos created by them. Teeth are also referred to as the “crowning glory" of the human body. Students of grade 4 created beautiful models of teeth to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the functions of teeth. Teeth play an essential role in our lives therefore proper dental care is needed to keep them healthy. Students explained the function of teeth structure with creative models in their hands. They also shared about different dental problems and proper brushing techniques. It was a great learning experience for the students as the molding of the clay into different types of teeth gave an insight into different shapes and structures of the teeth. It is rightly said learning by doing is the best way of learning.

Friendship day is a day to celebrate friendship and to mark the importance of one of the most beautiful relationships in the world. It is the most beautiful gift you can present to anyone. On the occasion of friendship day, Presidium celebrated the everlasting bonds of camaraderie with great zeal and excitement. A special assembly was presented by the students to mark the special occasion. The students joyfully explained the significance and importance of friendship through a wonderfully refreshing and touching tale of the eternal bond of true and divine friendship between Shri Krishna and Sudama. Later, the spirit of friendship enlivened all as they showed their love, togetherness, and promises to each other.

"Save the tigers before they are silenced forever."
International Tiger Day (also known as Global Tiger Day) is celebrated every year on 29 July to raise awareness about tiger conservation, promote the protection of the natural habitat of tigers, and support tiger conservation issues. Today grade 2 students celebrated International Tigers day with the slogan "let's save Tigers, their survival is in our hands." Students exhibited their inner and hidden talent by showcasing the posters they created to spread awareness to save tigers. Students enjoyed watching some related videos to build awareness on tiger conservation and develop a stronger bond between wildlife and people.
