Celebration is a special enjoyable event that people organize because something pleasant has happened or because it is someone's birthday, anniversary, or any festival. Festivals are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture, and traditions, and play an important role in adding structure to our social lives and connecting us with our families and backgrounds. Students of Presidium explored more about the TBL theme Celebration. They discussed what Celebration is, what festivals are, National and religious festivals celebrated in India, and their importance. Students enjoyed sharing about special occasions like birthdays and festivals. Every student got a chance to show their hidden talent through dance, song, and talk about it. They got an opportunity to see and know more about the festivals celebrated in India throughout the year

PRESIDIANS ENHANCE THEIR MATHS SKILL WITH FUN ACTIVITY

"Without Mathematics, there is nothing you can do. Everything around you is Mathematics. Everything around you are Numbers."
Keeping this in mind, Presidium organized a virtual 'Missing Number Activity' for the tiny tots of Grade Nursery. It is an important, fun, and challenging activity that kids learn to identify the sequence and also recognize the after, before & between numbers. Students enjoyed doing these activities with the help of several flower crafts, which involved identifying the correct sequence. Students began to understand the number sequencing and identify the numbers' pattern and complete it by filling in the missing numbers through this activity. This is an essential skill for understanding numbers beyond just counting.

PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH FERVOR & ZEAL

"Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold; everything is softer and more beautiful."
The much-awaited festival of Christmas was celebrated with fervor and zeal by Presidians. The students presented an array of exciting programs. The school echoed with Christmas Carols. The students presented a thought-provoking skit that emphasized that Christmas was more than just Santa, Cards, Toys, and Gifts under the Christmas tree. The skit brought forth the true meaning of the Yuletide spirit, which lay in the joy of giving and helping those who are less fortunate. This was followed by a poem "My wish list" from Santa and the dance performance for kindergarten. The students were filled with Joy and Excitement as in the end Santa came dancing to the tunes of Jingle Bells.

As humans, we all have an inherent drive to learn and better ourselves. The drive and motivation to improve our well-being comes easy for some, but it is difficult for most of us. Presidium took their Grade-two students for a little journey, allowing them to explore a new beginning & to widen their perspectives. People do what they are told to do, but Presidians love to explore and innovate. They know that their values are their foundation. Each choice they make, and each action that follows, is fueled by intention and rooted in their core values. With mindfulness and awareness, they try to cultivate a habit of being grateful for everything that comes in life. Everyone got a chance to share their feelings in front of others, and each student got an opportunity to understand themselves and reflect on their own experiences.

STUDENTS LEARN TO USE TECHNOLOGY TO LEVERAGE THEIR ABILITIES

A computer is an electronic device used to store the data as per given instruction; it quickly and accurately gives results. Students of Grade 3 took part in the class activity in which they explored and learned about spreadsheet vocabularies such as undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, alignments, and formatting. They also explored the different characteristics of computer, input & output devices and how it works. In the end, students realize that computers make our life easier, and due to this, they have increasingly been put to use and easily found their way into the lives of people, especially during the time of pandemics.

"ENERGY CONSERVATION IS THE FOUNDATION OF ENERGY INDEPENDENCE"
National Energy Conservation Day is a medium and an approach towards creating a strategic mindset for preserving energy and resources for future generations. National Energy Conservation Day is observed each year on the 14th of December to create awareness about the importance of resources and preserve them. An informative assembly was conducted in grades 4 and 5 in which students learned about the importance of resources and how to preserve them for our future generation. Each individual can spare vitally by wiping out the pointless utilization of electrical equipment that is utilized in everyday life. All the students took part enthusiastically overall; it was a learning experience.

STUDENTS CONDUCT A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

Human Rights Day is celebrated annually across the world on 10th December every year. They embody key values in our society, such as fairness, dignity, equality, and respect. The assembly at Presidium started with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, as students shared the day's significance. The aim was to promote the power of Human Rights for building a peaceful and sustainable world. Students shared that everyone must know the fundamental human rights and encourage all to live a peaceful life. To create awareness, they displayed their artistic skills through an array of beautiful posters.The assembly concluded with a beautiful message, "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights."

कक्षा 4 में हास्य कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य बच्चों को हिंदी भाषा के प्रति लगाव उत्पन्न करना, प्रमुख विधाओं से परिचित करवाना, उनमें आत्मविश्वास व वाचन कौशल का विकास करना है। इस गतिविधि के अंतर्गत बच्चों ने अनेक हास्य कवियों की कविताएं अपने अंदाज में सुनाई व सभी का मनोरंजन किया। कुछ बच्चों ने स्वयं हास्य कविता का निर्माण किया जो काफी प्रशंसनीय व दूसरे बच्चों के लिए मार्गदर्शनीय रहा।

BUDDING ENGINEERS ACE THE MACHINE ACTIVITY WITH EASE

Simple machines are devices with few or no moving parts that make our work easier students were introduced to the six types of simple machines- wheel & Axle, inclined plane, pulley, wedge, screw, and lever. Simple machines are the most basic machines used in our daily routines to clean, move, create, repair, etc. A simple machine makes our work easier implies that we need less force to do the same amount of work. To understand the concept more deeply, students of grade 5 made the simple machine with the help of their toys and material available near them. Activities like these encourage the students to bring the best out of them as learning by doing is the best way. Overall it was a learning experience.

Children's day in India is celebrated every year on 14th November to increase people's awareness of children's rights, care, and education. Presidium organized a children's day program wherein various games and activities were conducted for the children. It was a fun-filled day for all students. The program began with prayer, dance, and tributes to Chacha Nehru.
